Some examples of these micro herbs are in specialty produce such as arugula, swiss chard, kale and broccoli. Here are some reasons why these nutrients are so needed. Here are some reasons why healthy eating is such a necessity.

  1. Increase Efficiency
Our brains need good quality foods in order to be the most efficient and productive that they can be. If you are constantly eating heavy carbs and sugary foods, you won’t be able to focus and concentrate as well as you could if you ate foods full of nutrients and ‘good fuel.’ Studies show that after improving diets, people were able to increase their general functionality. One particular study showed that unhealthy eating put the subjects at a 66 percent risk of lessened productivity not only because of unhealthy diets but because this way of eating also promoted lack of exercise, chronic pain and even financial problems. Eating things like different micro green varieties helps to avoid those problems.

  2. Saves Money
There are several ways that you can save money because of a healthier life style. One way is eating out. It’s easy to just go through a drive through of a fast food restaurant when you aren’t concerned about the health benefits of micro green varieties and other healthy foods. You end up wasting so much money eating out that could have been used to buy so much more in a grocery store to stock up on good foods at home. Another way is in life insurance. Believe it or not, you could end up paying a whole lot more in premiums because of the way you eat because insurance companies understand how relative how we eat is to our general health.

  3. Makes You Happy
Eating micro green varieties, fruits and vegetables and whole grain foods help to regulate your mood far better than high sugar foods. While no foods have been proven to actually act as an antidepressant, proper nutrition helps to maintain a stable blood sugar level which makes you feel so much better usually. It can also reduce stress. When you are stressed out, your body breaks down protein differently than it does when the stress hormones are not raging out of control.

  4. Maintains Weight
It’s pretty much common sense that eating healthy will regulate your weight but it’s still worth mentioning. Lower weight also helps to lower blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels. Doing small things like replacing soda with water and eating carrot sticks instead of chips or skipping the fries is a great way to lose weight and save money at the same time. When you eat healthier, you are more motivated to work out or take part in some kind of activity during the day which also helps to lose weight.

  5. Extends Life
This might seem dramatic but it’s true. Unhealthy eating can cut years off of your life span. Weight and health related disease and conditions will be avoided by healthy eating as blood flow and arteries are allow to function and pump properly without over stressing themselves.

  6. It’s Healthy
It may seem silly to say that eating healthy is healthy but this is as opposed to being thin. Just because you don’t have a lot of weight on you does not mean that you are healthy. And not everyone that is overweight is unhealthy. This is why you can find thin people that snack on fatty and greasy foods and overweight people who seem to eat nothing but salads. If you were to take a look into each of these people’s body you would probably be surprised to find that the overweight person is actually healthier. We have to be careful not to judge people and their health just by how they look because chances are, we are wrong.
